silver anniversary in 1983, London’s famed Marquee Club staged a series
of outstanding concerts. For this particular performance, Dr. John utilized
the spectacular Chris Barber Band to achieve a triumphant collection of his
best material. The good Doctor and his backing ensemble stomp through classics
including: “In the Right Place,” “Oh Eliza,” and “New
Orleans Memories.”
