Director Woody Allen handpicked the classical tracks for his latest film, Scoop,
to capture the playful elegance of the storyline. Drawing heavily from compositions
by Tchaikovsky, Grieg, and Strauss, the first six tracks are taken from the Swan
Lake Ballet Suite. Allen also liberally utilizes themes from The Nutcracker to
intensify the sense of mystery.
