The quirky singer-songwriter, Sufjan Stevens, who plans to release a theme album
for each of the fifty states, has decided to give an extra smattering of interesting
bonuses from his first foray into musical postcards. Not only are the songs exquisite,
but Stevens seems to have truly researched the state’s history with the songs:
“Adlai Stevenson,” “The Avalanche,” and “For Clyde Tombaugh.”
