Quite simply put, Andy McKee is an incredible fingerstyle guitarist. At age 22,
he placed third in the prestigious National Fingerstyle Competition, making him
the youngest person ever to rank in the top three. His technique is reminiscent
of Michael Hedges, but his instrumental composition is also impressive. Tracks
such as “For My Father,” “Art of Motion,” and “Shanghai” demonstrate dazzling
skill.
