Golden Smog’s repertoire seems like a tour of many musical genres, especially
those of the 1960s. The opener “You Make It Easy” and the title track
evoke the early Kinks, “Listen Joe” with its harmonies, is reminiscent
of CSNY. But the electronic intro on “Beautiful Mind” suggests that
Golden Smog have a sound of their own, too.
