The name of this outfit
suggests an early 1960s folk group. But it’s dark alt-rock with a suggestion
of the Velvet Underground and a mix of guitar rock and electronic elements. Songs
are mostly in minor keys and the lyrics are world-weary in outlook. The best track
is “Flashback,” featuring Mark Lanegan.
