While Madagascar
is probably a film designed for children, the soundtrack serves as an overview
of some of the greatest film songs of the past 50 years. The presence of Vangelis’
Chariots of Fire theme, the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive,”
and Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” are undeniable
classics. Sacha Baron’s (aka Ali G) “I Like to Move It” is also
hilarious.
