Though listed as an album of tracks drawing from “various artists,”
Paul Westerberg’s music dominates the soundtrack of Open Season, a CGI-animated
film for children. While some might be surprised that the formerly raucous leader
of The Replacements might undertake such an artistic endeavor, his songs provide
a slightly off-kilter feel to the juvenile film.
